Welcome, I’m Lily!

I started Naturally Non-Toxic because I wanted a safer home for my family. Then I realized how confusing “non-toxic” can be. Greenwashing is everywhere. Brands use feel-good labels that don’t explain what’s actually inside the product or what touches your food and skin.
So I built Naturally Non-Toxic as a shortcut. I do the digging, then I explain it in plain English.
What I actually do here
I research ingredient lists, material safety, and brand disclosures. I compare certifications. I look for what’s missing as much as what’s advertised. When I make a claim about safety, I link to a primary source whenever possible, like a study, a regulatory document, or a manufacturer disclosure.
I’m not here to scare you. I’m here to help you make decisions you feel good about.
My standards (how I decide what to recommend)
I prioritize products that meet at least one of these:
If I can’t confirm what the product is made of or what touches your food or skin, I don’t recommend it.
Progress rather than perfection
Non-toxic living doesn’t need to be all-or-nothing. I believe in progress you can stick with. Small swaps that make a real difference. Just better choices over time.
If you’re working on safer kitchen swaps, baby gear, cleaning products, beauty, or everyday essentials, you’re in the right place.
